Busan (부산, 釜山) (formerly romanized as Pusan) is a city located in the south-eastern province of South Gyeongsang, South Korea.
With over 3.6 million people, Busan is South Korea's second largest city and largest seaport. Busan is known for its beaches, hot springs, nature reserves and events such as the city's renowned international film festival held each fall. Busan is a good destination for those seeking a more laid back atmosphere than Seoul.
